Jesus - what a windbag!
Loved Richard Burton but his voice in villain was awful.
Senza Elizabeth non mi piaci 😢😢
Glorious glorious glorious glorious power of words exquisite
Amazing episode, Richard was of the quietly blazing persuasion as well.
Us Celts feel very deeply 13:00
It is foolish to think that because it was after the service hour Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor couldn’t get a drink from the hotel where it was celebrated their advent!
The opening "widescreen" credits are sheer genius -
“God put me on Earth to raise sheer Hell.” - Richard Burton. I recommend reading Hellraisers by Robert Sellers. There is a book and also a graphic novel. Both are wonderful. The books about the debauchery of Burton, O’Toole, Reed and Harris.
Tremendous interview! ⭐️
Every husband back then and even now once a trophy wife which my husband has. But he's not paying attention right now but he needs to and he will. I love him. I've been together for over decades.
Liz has gone now ,she only wanted 5 minutes, gutter press

Good movie, enjoyed this version also..
Wolfie!!!
The guy who plays Jackson in this episode also played Ipswich on Seinfeld in the Chicken Roaster episode, the guy who was questioning Elaine about her "rat hat"!
My GOD ! this man was eloquent and beautiful and he knew it ! Plus highly intelligent to boot.
Billericay Dickie indeed.
one of the most fascinating men to ever walk the planet
Never realized that Parkinson is a COMPLETE ASSHAT, at least in his YOUNGER YRS!. ELIZABETH was a piece of property! -All child stars are. THEY WERE often struck, shut up and awsy whatever, to GET THEM TO PERFORM!! There's a REASON ALL THE PEEP that She, MJ, Shirley Temple-Black ETCETCETC. met (that were child stars), CRIED for at LEAST 30 minutes together when 1st they met EACH OTHER. THE WOUNDED RECOGNIZE each other!

I have always being mesmerized by R.Burton...Such talent and ease of display in his craft...just listening to him talk got me everytime!!This was a gift!!!
Best interview with Burton.
Knows a thing or two about theatre and film and yet how be your own man.
Richard Burton is incomparable! His voice alone is divine!
Favourite film wild geese Burton at the end tears in my eyes
Understated acting and very effective. Sofia and Richard looks like they were really involved, the body language
Burton is good, but Sophia Loren is awful, bad acting without passion, and I don’t understand how could she be considered beautiful?!
Brilliant most handsome storyteller. I miss him and his talent as I do olivier and all the actors of the past. No one holds a candle to them today. True artist. You are missed greatly Mr. Burton❤❤❤❤❤
I love them together more than I can say. Mr and Mrs Burton forever
I had the rare privilege to know Dick Burton and loved sending himself up !!; It is unfortunate that he was always tanking up,it didn't affect his acting !!
In my opinion they had zero chemistry. The love scene was painful to watch 😅
No complaints there . KD Scottish .
His voice, alone was extraordinary. It made it who he was
Why try to replicate a masterpiece like Brief Encounter, Celia Johnson and Trevor Howard had the kind of chemistry that is so rare and compelling Burton and Loren are just acting. The whole structure of the piece changed to reflect England nearly 30 years later is just too busy and distracting to enable the focus and intensity reflected in the original, why waste resources and talent on the impossible.
Being cheated on is so painful. This was a movie about lust not love.
Burton is such an intense actor. I wish that alcoholism hadn’t created such a loss of future films.

Eri l uomo dei miei sogni, ma poi e' arrivata Elizabeth ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
He did a brilliant Richard Burton….😀😺
It is so good to warch a film not full of wine drinking, cell phones blaring and the f word being used incessantly.
Say,is that JB Smoov as the porter?
Can someone please identify the background music? It is also used in The Brothers- The Trojan Horse episode. Many thanks.
